Great Blue Heron

Great Blue Heron by LaLens
Great Blue Heron, a photo by LaLens on Flickr.

Hey Friends, I've been out ruffling feathers today, and I wanted to share my lucky shot with you! There was one big, blue, "angry bird" flying around our lovely lake this afternoon. Great Blue Herons will actually growl at the paparazzi. Until next time, let's keep on shining. :-)

  1. Great lucky shot! I am rubbish at taking photos of birds, much easier with flowers, at least they keep in one place, even if they move in the wind :-)

    1. Glad you enjoyed the shot, Helene. I had lots of fun out there today. Your flower shots are always lovely, and you're gifted at capturing them for us to enjoy. What beautiful blooms you have to capture as well! All the best! :-)

  2. Hey, Beth, we all know it may be luck to see a good shot, but it takes talent to *get* it and get it right, especially when the shot it on the fly. You got it.

    1. Thank you, Lee! You've made my day with your kind words. :-) My camera and I are still getting to know each other, but I will remember your kind words in the dark times when the camera and I aren't getting along. I hope your recovery is going well. All the best! :-)

    1. Thank you, Gardening Shoe! Actually, I did get growled at but that was worth it to get the shot. Just call me the "The Feather Ruffler." :-) So glad you stopped by. All the best!
